This article is about an older version of DF.
A huge herbivore with thick plated skin and powerful build. It is known for the thick horns on the end of its nose.

Rhinoceroses are essentially small elephants, as far as most dwarves are concerned. They are found in tropical biomes and can be tamed only by a Dungeon Master.

Also, like elephants, when tamed, they require so much grass that it is impossible for them to avoid starvation.
