This article is about an older version of DF.
A monster, half man, half beast. It is a fur-covered humanoid with the head of a wolf.

Despite the folklore surrounding them, it appears that werewolves do not propagate via curse or disease--yet. Your dwarves and adventurers need fear only death.

Werewolves like to pick off loners in the woods, but don't seem to attack fortress entrances. A good method of dealing with them is to assign a dog to a chain and surround it with cage traps.
