This article is about an older version of DF.
A giant amphibian predator found underground.

A giant toad is the very large and dangerous version of the regular Template:L. They are amphibious predators, which appear near and in subterranean water. It is able to Template:L. Additionaly goblins are using them as mounts, which enables them to swim.

These animals have a quite good value as pets, and body parts gained at the Template:L's shop are worth four times as much of those of domestic animals. However, they cannot be tamed and bred until the Template:L arrives.
