This article is about an older version of DF.
A huge emaciated-looking bear with great drooping ears and many sharp teeth. It is found deep underground.

Blind cave bears are huge predators that appear only one at a time to hunt dwarves. They can be trapped and Template:Ld by a Template:L and make decent pets. Unlike bears of the surface world (Template:Ls, Template:Ls or Template:Ls), blind cave bears are not attracted by Template:L or Template:L and cannot be lured into Template:Ls with anything less than either blind luck or a strategically placed Template:L on a Template:L.

They may be worth more dead than alive: blind cave bear parts and products are worth three times as much as those of domestic animals, and a single bear will keep a Template:L busy for a long time.
