Pineapples are an aboveground garden vegetable. They can be gathered and planted in all seasons, but only in tropical biomes. The plant itself is inedible, but can be processed to produce a fruit and a leaf. Fruit and leaves can also be gathered from wild shrubs using a zone, or by adventurers, but the fruit is only available this way from early summer to late summer (16th of Hematite to 27th of Galena), and the leaves take time to grow back. The fruit can be brewed into pineapple wine and is also edible raw or cooked. The leaves can be processed in a dyer's shop into golden yellow     dye and are inedible. Seeds are produced from processing the plant, brewing the fruit, or eating the raw fruit, and are only edible to vermin. The flowers appear in late spring (23rd of Felsite), last until the fruit appears, and have no use.
