Wikipedia article

This article is about an older version of DF.

Red spinach is an aboveground crop. They can be planted in all seasons, the leaves are edible raw or cooked, and seeds when cooked.

Because only the leaves are harvested, new seeds cannot be produced and red spinach cannot be grown domestically in a fortress.

Some dwarves like red spinach for its leaves.

Admired for its leaves.
