Dwarves live in fortresses - usually underground complexes with all the required buildings for dwarven living. They're named in a specific manner.

Denomination

Fortresses are named according to their population.

  • Outpost: Less than 20 dwarves.
  • Hamlet: 20-49 dwarves.
  • Village: 50-79 dwarves.
  • Town: 80-100+? dwarves [Verify]
  • City: ??-?? dwarves [Verify]
  • Metropolis: ??-?? dwarves [Verify]

In addition, the fort may be the home of monarchs of the surrounding land:
