This article is about an older version of DF.

The Visualize screen shows a 3D view of the currently shown area of the map, drawing the floors and walls of all levels in 3D. Currently it has no usefulness but eyecandy. You can use + - to zoom / pan the view and * / to rotate the view.

For more complete 3-dimensional visualization, several third-party tools are available.
