This article is about an older version of DF.

A crown µ is a trade good made at a craftsdwarf's workshop or at a metalsmith's forge under any particular category using the "Make Crafts" job. Like all crafts, it is not possible to create them specifically (e.g. to satisfy mandates) - instead, you just have to roll the dice and hope you get lucky. On rare occasions, cutting a rough gem at a jeweler's workshop will yield a gem crown.

Once the economy activates, dwarf civilians may claim ownership of crowns and store them in their rooms (or simply leave them sitting on the floor).

In Adventurer mode, crowns can be worn on the head as a cover layer item and can conflict with helms. Dwarves can somehow wear multiple crowns at once.
