Visual Fortress[edit]

Any particular reason why you use 3Dwarf for your 3D screenshots rather than Visual Fortress? The latter seems to have a better sense of scale, and it also colors walls and ramps (though seemingly not floors) according to their materials. It's also got much nicer models for trees and rocks, and statues and bridges also show up. --Quietust 16:25, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

The map causes Visual Fortress to barf a mess of green polygon obscuring everything. Its totally unuseable on this map. Actually, I've had that problem every time I've tried to use it on a map from a game with modded RAWs.
Heck, in the initial DL for this 3Dwarf didn't even recognize it as a DF process. I had to do a clean DF install and copy the save and raws folders over to it to get 3dwarf to work, so i'm lucky i have 3D at all.

Travelers and Hospitality[edit]
