:Back in 40d (and possibly even dating back to 23a), studding a bucket with any particular metal had a chance of adding a handle to the bucket rather than any other type of decoration. --[[User:Quietust|Quietust]] 01:59, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

::found another decorated bucket, this time with "the handle is made from exceptionally worked maple" and only "adorned with hanging rings of superior quality willow". That bucket had the tags for exceptional decorations too, so the handle is still a type of decoration and might not be limited to metals. --[[User:Syndic|Syndic]] 02:02, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

==Capacity==

What's the capacity of a bucket?? in the forums I found this:

Volume and Mass.

The game is already going down the road of defining volumes of almost all its objects, as well as its densities, and then deriving mass from those terms.

It is dummied out now, but large pots, for example, have a [CONTAINER_CAPACITY:60000] stat. Presumably, this will eventually mean they can carry any combination of items that have a combined SIZE of 60,000 or lower. (Size, incidentally, relates to mL.) For now, however, this is dummied out to 6 items, regardless of size.

For now, I calculate that a tile in total has a SIZE of 27,000,000 mL. 7/7 water fills that completely. Basically, 3.86 million mL per 1/7.

Conversely, a bucket can contain 10 units of water, and any number of water units in a bucket will produce a 1/7 water in a pond. Buckets presumably have a capacity of 10,000 mL (which is a pretty big bucket, but the smallest possible size right now.)
