The Meeting Hall, also known as the Great Hall, is among the most vital parts of any fortress. It is a room where idle dwarves gather, Template:L are held, and Template:L Template:Ls congregate. It is a good idea to site this heavily-trafficked area someplace both safe and convenient to get to.

A public Template:L can be designated as a meeting hall, and a room defined from a Template:L, Template:L, or Template:L/Template:L also functions as a meeting hall.
