Spider demon silk webs spotted[edit]
So I recently accidentally opened up the HFS (ever notice how much harvesting adamantine is like a game of Minesweeper?), and, to my utter surprise, my fortress (and even a couple of my military dwarves that weren't sleeping) survived. Poking around the map down there, I can see "spider demon silk webs" with a listed value of 6. I haven't mustered the chutzpah to try harvesting them yet, but I thought I'd mention it. - Toady taught titans/forgotten beasts/demons how to shot web in version 0.34.01, so that's why you're seeing them now. Just as the game will spawn spider webs in biomes which contain said spiders, the game also spawns demon webs in Hell (corresponding to the demons that have webs). --Quietust 19:14, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
