Making a crossbow from bone takes only one bone off a stack. The bones of a wolf (12) turn thus into 12 crossbows. Assuming you have a decent bowyer, this makes for a good early fort defense and a good way of turning bones into value. Is bone crafting more effective? --Old Ancient 03:35, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
