Pikes are polearms (so are spears) [1]. I'm fine with just calling it a weapon though. --StrongAxe 14:15, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- One might usually associate the term "polearm" with something you swing (e.g. a halberd or scythe or a bill bec-de-bardiche glaive-guisarme) and "spear" with something you thrust (i.e. a spear or pike), an association shared by several other games. --Quietust 14:45, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- Also there is no acknowledgment of "polearmness" in the behavior of weapons.
