Olm-People Do Not Trigger Traps[edit]

My current game has an underground cavern with a tribe of olm people. I created a 1 tile wide hallway filled with stone traps and the olm people walked right through it without triggering a single one. Anyone know if this is intentional behaviour or a bug? --Frewfrux 02:25, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

They don't have the [TRAPAVOID] tag, so I'd guess it's a bug. --Doub 16:05, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Olm-People Treasure[edit]

From the raw files you can see that these creatures are found in groups of 5-10. What you can't see is that they appear to populate the underground caverns with piles of "treasure" which they gaurd. In my current game, there are several pieces of leather which they seem to be very fond of. Anyone else seen this? Is it always leather, or are there sometimes other items? --Frewfrux 15:28, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

They're guarding leather in my game, too.

Olm-People Tribe, My experience[edit]

I found a tribe containing 3 male blowgunners and 1 male speargunner, and 3 female speargunners and 1 femal blowgunner. It seems that they work in male/female pairs, where every speargunner has blowgunner. In the middle is a woman guarding a "treasure", in the form of preserved draltha sweetbread and preserved cave crocodile spleen. They capture cave fish, which they capture with spears and blowguns dipped in cave spider venom. I haved based this on the pile of venom surrounding them. They seem to be good swimmers. Havent disturbed or attacked them yet. --Mr. Seeker 18:11, 28 Jul 2010 (UTC)

Re: Adventurer Mode[edit]

If you select an olm-man outsider character in adventure mode, does this character inherit the in-game aquatic nature of its kind and be able to breathe underwater? This makes for a great idea for seafloor exploration in Adventure Mode. --112.201.142.223 09:12, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
