Rock nuts[edit]
Have you ever actually observed a dwarf eating rock nuts? Because I've just tried eating them in Adventurer mode and it's not possible - if you try, you just lick them (as with any other inedible object) because seeds cannot be edible no matter what they're made of. --Quietust 01:01, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Hmm, no. I'll go make a fortress now with only rock nuts as food and no food production and see what the dwarves do when they want to eat. Will report back soon.
Indeed, rock nuts are not edible. I've always had the impression that they were. I am not sure why.
