Moving around[edit]

Remember that you can move the selected embark area:

And resize it:

Flat embark[edit]

To get a flat embark your best bet is finding an area with level cliff and elevation, similar to the one below.

Elevated flat embark with waterfall[edit]

You can get elevated flat-ish maps too.
