- We're still working that out. As far as I can figure so far higher skill ranks (in the varoius social skills) will give you more chances at trading with the elves, maybe others. Just because the traders are making a profit doesn't mean that they'll hand things over. They seem to count the number of items as well. Novice Negotiator will give you about three tries.
