Hi,

I haven't had any trouble trading wooden or metal (incl. steel) items to elves, both created on site and traded to me. Should the wiki be changed to reflect this? Am I an anomaly? --Lidhuin 22:06, 20 August 2012 (UTC -05)

Are you using vanilla raws or are you using mods (e.g. Masterwork)? Also, Elves have never cared about metal - the only things that bother them are plant-derived goods (they assume that all metalworking is done using magma and/or mined coal), and they haven't cared about animal-derived goods (meat, fish, bone, leather, etc.) since the early 3D versions (i.e. between 23a and 40d). --Quietust 02:25, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Just the LazyNewbPack, which to my knowledge doesn't specifically use mods, just outside utilities such as dwarf therapist --Lidhuin 22:01, 21 August 2012 (UTC -05)
Wood is not trade-able, but everything else is. I just come from a time when they were very strict on what they would and would not trade. --Lidhuin 11:13, 22 August 2012 (UTC -05)

Elf Trader Wrestling

So during my most recent butchering of an elven caravan I had one fight back after being cornered. The attacks were consistent with Wrestler moves, including something called a joint lock which broke an Axedwarf's shoulder and ankle upon completion. Anybody think an update to the "cannot fight back" part here?
