:Thanks to Knight Otu on the bay12 forums for pointing this out; to have gender specific positions you use GENDER:MALE/FEMALE rather than just MALE/FEMALE tokens, verified as the elves make use of these tokens. I edited the table to include this information.

Is it possible this determines whether or not it is possible for this individual to accompany you in Adventure Mode? I've noticed many of them tend to say, "I'm sorry, my duty is here."
