This article is about an older version of DF.

Sand deserts are large and dry areas of Template:L. They can be difficult for a beginning player to found a Template:L in, due to the fact that there are usually few Template:L and Template:L to be found and it may require digging several Template:L deep before any Template:L is found.

Deserts are most likely to be Template:L or Template:L, but may be Template:L or Template:L as well. They are always arid, so Template:L deserts may only have flowing water for a few months of the year, and Template:L ones might have rivers that evaporate during the summer months.
