If you plan on breeding elephants note that elephant calfs take a very long time to mature, and pregnant elephants will sometimes give birth to triplets. Also, all, or at least most, elephants will follow the animal trainer who tamed them. This is very effective if you train them into war elephants and make the trainer into a recruit.
