This article is about an older version of DF.

Dormitories are a type of multiple-bed Template:L, similar to the Template:L. Instead of hosting the military, dormitories host civilians[Verify]. It is designated from a Template:L.

To create a dormitory, press q, highlight a bed, press r, then -/+ until you have the size you want. Then press d. The dormitory will automatically include every bed in the area you highlighted. If there aren't any beds to sleep on in the dormitory, dwarves will sleep on the ground inside the dormitory.
