Since we request that you try to follow DFwiki standards, I've made a list of basic guidelines to follow:<br>

* To let us know who you are, please sign your posts on discussion pages by typing "<nowiki>--~~~~</nowiki>" after your posts. This can also be inserted with the [[Image:Button sig756222.png]] button if Javascript is enabled.

[[Template:version]] puts the article into a category for that version to make updates on outdated information easier later on. So please try to make sure that you use the the full version label when using it. If you aren't sure what the current version is, you can use <nowiki>{{subst:current}}</nowiki> to label it with the most recent one (if you do not subst it, it will always be referring to the most recent one). [[:Category:version]] will list each of the version categories we have. [[Special:wantedcategories]] has version categories that havent been handled (among other things). * Avoid making a dozen small edits to a page, and instead make one large edit. This makes the history of the page a lot easier to read and avoids cluttering the Recent changes page.

* When making comments on a talk page, if you are replying to a comment, use one more indent than the comment you are replying to. As indents are created with :'s at the begining of line, you'd use ::::: at the begining if you were replying to a 4-indent comment.

put the archive of our debate on my page in order, and started the discussion section in PreGen talk. --Edward 16:11, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Template:version puts the article into a category for that version to make updates on outdated information easier later on. So please try to make sure that you use the the full version label when using it. If you aren't sure what the current version is, you can use {{subst:current}} to label it with the most recent one (if you do not subst it, it will always be referring to the most recent one). Category:version will list each of the version categories we have. Special:wantedcategories has version categories that havent been handled (among other things).
