Urist asks... Where is the table of contents?
Excellent question, Urist! The table of contents is right here:
Urist asks... What is this template for?

Excellent question, Urist! This template is intended for simple questions and answers, like this one.

Urist asks... How do I use this template?

Excellent question, Urist! To use this template, you need to add it to an article. Click the "edit" link of the appropriate article or section, and add the following text where you want to use this template:

{{Urist asks|q=Question|a=Answer}}

* Replace "Question" with your question and "Answer" with your answer.

That text would produce something that looks like this:

Urist asks... Question

Answer

D for Dwarf[edit]

Urist asks... How do I mark a question as "D for Dwarf"?

Excellent question, Urist! To mark a question as "D for Dwarf" (often used for humorous answers), add "dfd=yes" before the question, like this:

{{Urist asks|dfd=yes|q=Question|a=Answer}}

This produces:

Urist asks... Question D

Answer

Urist asks... How do I keep the question from being added to the category?

Excellent question, Urist! Replacing "dfd" with "dfdx" will prevent inclusion in the D for Dwarf category (useful for examples like these).

Urist McEditor uses a ☼Urist Asks template☼ to answer a question!
The spinning ☼Urist Asks template☼ strikes the McReader in the lower back, chipping the bone!
