I was working on making my fort the capital when the monarch showed up. I had a barony when they arrived. I noticed that the position of count has been filled by the king's consort. Has this happened to anyone else? I wouldn't imagine them being the same gender would have any effect on noble appointments, but I can't think of anything else.

Further clarification: I now have both a Baron and a Count on the same map. It seems that the consort is the count of the civilization itself, not my site. As much as I like the unique situation, he enjoys ballista arrows, so I'll likely be arranging a meeting with a diplomat. --Struck Down (talk) 08:28, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

Gay ruler's consort became count[edit]
