Simple constructions include [[wall]]s, [[floor]]s, [[stair]]s, [[ramp]]s and [[bridge]]s and can be made from wood or stone. More advanced constructions may have several prerequisites needing specific materials, [[workshop]]s and [[skill|skilled]] dwarves. For example [[screw pump]]s, [[windmill]]s and [[gear assembly|gear assemblies]]. All constructions can be deconstructed. Designated constructions can be removed using the {{K|d}}esignations menu. Other constructions can be destroyed by accessing their properties using {{K|t}} or {{K|q}} and {{K|x}} removing the construction. Removing a construction returns it composite parts to the floor below.
