:I modded obsidian to be magma-proof. I figure if it can hold back magma in the first place, it should be magma-proof. And as a more valuable stone with multiple uses, it still forces a choice of what to do with it. Valuable stone furniture, sharp blades, or mechanisms? I consider that fair.
