:In my experience, if the dwarfs have poor armor or weapons it takes them a long time to level up. My question is what happens as Legendary +5?  Do you get any more bonuses by being ultra legendary? ::My leather clad fortress guards level up slightly faster than my plate clad military, probably because the plate slows down the new recruits at first. Shields have a higher block rate than bucklers and absorb all of certain types of damage, whereas bucklers only absorb some of certain types of damage. :I've noticed that in Adventure Mode, I level up faster when I'm prone than when I'm standing up.  I speculate that the rate of increase is related to how much damage you take with each attack (you take +4 damage when prone, I believe). --[[User:Igfig|Igfig]] 00:03, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
