If all of the magma is drained away, the magma flow tiles are supposed to animate and sparkle just like the original [[23a:magma flow|magma flow]] from the earliest versions of Dwarf Fortress, but due to a bug they do not. The following patch for version 0.28.181.40d for Windows fixes this:
