40d:Dark gnome

Dark Gnomes are creatures that can be seen in mountain areas.
They usually wander around in packs of 2-5. They are moderately agressive but not very strong. While a competent axedwarf has been seen killing lone gnomes with relative ease, the gnomes might seriously wound/kill herbalists and other unarmed dwarves, especially if they attack in packs.
