'''Black bears''' are the smallest of all bears, and also the most common. They usually comes along roughly once every second year. They are known to raid your {{L|alcohol}} storage, if the storage is close to the surface. The black bear can be killed by a single war {{L|dog}}, but usually it takes two or three and probably only one will survive. An average {{L|hunter}} can kill it with five to ten {{L|arrow}}s or {{L|bolt}}s. You could also capture them and tame them, but they don't make a good defense force. (RIP all the poor Black Bears tied up at people's entrances).
