While digging through a disassembly of version 0.23.130.23a, I discovered that all of the "jewelry" items actually have LAYER, LAYER_PERMIT, LAYER_SIZE, and SHAPED values which seemed consistent with the equip limits you had originally posted on [[v0.31:Jewelry]], and upon locating the same code in version 0.31.25, I also located COVERAGE values, as well as the above properties for splints and casts.
