iirc I seen this mentioned on the forums, if so can someone please make note of it on the page, to avoid confusion of people using multiple objects per file. --Jan (talk) 11:13, 3 January 2023 (UTC)

: I might be misunderstanding you, but you can definitely have more than one object defined per file, and I'm pretty certain this is universally true. I can't think of any file that doesn't have multiple objects defined in it. Alpacalypse (talk) 16:18, 9 March 2023 (UTC)

With each raw file beginning with same file name and presumably followed by the same
[OBJECT:<Object-name>]
(I haven't tested the last) --Jan (talk) 18:48, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

: AFAIK, this is correct. Might be worth making a distinction between object name/object type if mentioned on the wiki though. As technically, I think you are referring to the object type/category here; CREATURE:COW and CREATURE:DOG, could be construed as two creature "object" names, but they could both be in the same vanilla_creatures/objects file. Related to Jan's comment above: It seems that the file header name (the one in the actually body text) can usually (but maybe not always) be anything you want. I did have some results where it seemed like this might be able to change the load order of the modded files, but would need more testing to confirm. I might add a "files" disambiguation page and add this to it. There are also a lot of pages on specific raw files and raw file usage that could be linked to from this page. It's a shame to have them tucked away and hard to find when they are often very informative and useful references from the wiki. :I went ahead a made a "Raws" navigation template. Too many individual files to list, so (currently red) links are directory names, grouped into similar categories. If nothing else, I thought it might make for a handy reference of all the raw file directories, whilst documenting raws on the wiki is still a WIP. Of note: there is also a :Category:Raws which needs a lot of work to be a useful, and up to date, reference to related pages. --Alpacalypse (talk) 20:33, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
