v50 Steam/Premium information for editors
- v50 information can now be added to pages in the main namespace. v0.47 information can still be found in the DF2014 namespace. See here for more details on the new versioning policy.

Usage on pages of old versions[edit]
Replacing this file with premium graphics screenshot also replaced it on pages for old versions, which may be misleading since these versions didn't have graphics yet. I propose we use a different image there, either the old one or something else altogether, since we don't want to create confusion among players about why they don't have graphics in vintage DF. --DarklingArcher (talk) 17:17, 11 October 2026 (UTC)

- There's also a template for adding images that switch between ASCII and graphics, but unfortunately I forgot what that was and haven't gotten around to searching for it again. I seem to remember finding some guidance related to this, pointing out that though pages should ideally be updated to show v50 graphics, whether to actually entirely replace the older ASCII ones can be decided at the editors discretion. –Alpacalypse (talk) 17:51, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- Since they were completely different things, I went ahead and split the images. The new one is at File:v50_catsplosion.jpg, while the old one is here. If anyone has any suggestions, we can discuss them on either image's talk pages. --DarklingArcher (talk) 17:59, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
