I think it's probably best to only update this when new versions are released, to serve as a list of changes for that version. Otherwise, it doesn't seem to serve much purpose to me.<br>

After several smaller version releases or a large release I think it should also have the oldest stuff culled to keep the page from getting unwieldy. Does this sound like a decent plan for the page? --[[User:Janus|Janus]] 03:09, 24 November 2007 (EST)

:OK, that makes sense. In addition to the dev notes, I think you should also include the release notes  that are included within the new version downloads (in "release notes.txt" and "file changes.txt")So for the .33c update, you'll add:

<pre><nowiki>

Release notes for 0.27.169.33c:

Continuing along with bug fixing.  See the dev log for other minor changes.

******************************************************

Auxiliary file changes for 0.27.169.33c:

New init options

[PRIORITY:NORMAL]

</nowiki></pre>

:If you do this, you may need to change ''DF release notes'' to ''DF developement notes''. [[User:Plac1d|Plac1d]] 11:34, 24 November 2007 (EST)

Looking at the complete lack of attention the page has gotten, I decided to completely clear the page.<br>

Maybe this would work a lot better as something other than a version tracking page?<br>

I honestly don't know what it '''''should''''' be, but it needs to become something that actually gets attention. --[[User:N9103|Edward]] 21:45, 17 December 2008 (EST)

:If release notes is all this page gets used for, it might be better just to delete it and put said notes as part of the relevant version category page.  Or something along those lines. --[[User:LegacyCWAL|LegacyCWAL]] 16:17, 21 February 2009 (EST)
