This article is about an older version of DF.

Skin is a tissue layer common to most Template:Ls. When butchered, the skins of common creatures become raw hides that can be Template:L into Template:L. The skins of insectoid creatures (like Template:Ls or Template:Ls) are called chitin and that of reptilian creatures (like Template:Ls) and most Template:Les scale; currently, these cannot be used in any manner.
