Alcohol is the favored drink of Template:L, without which they become Template:L.
Acquiring Alcohol for your Dwarves
There are three methods of acquiring alcohol, only two of which may be done after one has embarked.
- At Template:L, alcohol may be purchased with embark points.
- Template:L that visit the fortress will often have alcohol of some sort to sell.
- The third, and most reliable, method requires a Template:L, a Template:L, and a working Template:L. Most Template:L can be brewed into valuable alcohol.
Consequences of a Sober Fortress
As dwarves are highly dependent on alcohol, a lack of booze over a prolonged period of time will result in a slow-down in almost every aspect of them. For this reason, a steady supply of alcohol is highly recommended for any attempts at a productive fort.
