- I suggest the following experiment on a userpage-
- Type {{subst:Current}}
- Below it, type {{subst:Current/version}}

- No, since the above usage substitutes the contents rather than merely transcluding them; once the new version is released, we edit this template to indicate the new version - old uses of this template will still say 40d (or earlier) and new instances will say the new version. --Quietust 01:24, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
