Invaders as bait

Currently testing 42.04: Wild spiders are willing to web a dwarf invader that arrived as part of a goblin siege. I'll test with other kinds of invaders, but a silk farm is definitely possible with a wild spider and an invader. --Gchristopher (talk) 04:34, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

Confirmed on 42.04: Wild spiders will also web goblin invaders, so using a dwarf as bait is not advised. Made minor edits to reflect this, but the trap designs need updated to reflect that an invader is a more convenient bait. (Place and recapture the invader in the same fashion as the spider.) --Gchristopher (talk) 09:00, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
Still works in 44.12: Dump-designate disarmed goblins work perfectly in this trap. Design with two abutting 3x1 rooms at a right angle with one central door in each room and one emergency cage trap combined with the two layer bridge design works great. Needs verification on 0.47.x, discord user reported wild GCS weren't shooting at goblin invaders, but started shooting as soon as military dwarves entered the area. Ziusudra (talk) 04:53, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
