The order of the crossbow is a cult centered around this particular type of dwarven weaponry. This noble arrives once you have forged (and not traded away) 50 crossbows and, once present, will insist that you have at least as many crossbows as other types of weapons by making occasional requests to the Mayor.
Unlike other nobles who flee from enemies, the Order of the Crossbow will equip a stack of bolts and use its crossbow to defend itself.
