The Ore Processor is an early-game workshop, requiring only mechanisms and blocks to build. It is the start of early metal industry, processing Ore-Bearing rock into pure ore. Ore-bearing rock, when mined, is very inefficient for smelting, having very low metal production rates. After refining into pure ore, the rates become more decent, with metal guaranteed at smelting.<br />
