A Jeweler's workshop is a workshop for a jeweler. A jeweler uses this workshop to make items more valuable.

Menu
Jeweler's Workshop
*c Cut Gems
*e Encrust with Gems

Common Uses
*Cut rough gems into something usable.
*Decorate objects with gems to make them more valuable.
*Make ordinary beds, cabinets, tables, etc. more aesthetic for better quality rooms.

Notes
*Rough gems are always more valuable when cut; however some dwarves will demand rough gems during a strange mood, so it is best not to cut all your gems.
*When adding a task to cut/encrust gems, the tasks are generally ordered by gem value, from least valuable to most valuable (in reality, they appear in the order in which they are defined in the raw file "inorganic_stone_gem.txt", which is roughly grouped by rarity).
*It's a good idea to let your Gem setter train with low-value gems, cut stone cabochons, or glass (which can be manufactured) and only encrust with high-value gems after reaching legendary status, as there's a much better chance they will produce a masterpiece which is 12 times as valuable.
*Cut gems do not have quality, so it is generally unnecessary to train a dwarf in gem cutting.
*The entire right column of the workshop is composed of impassable tiles, making it easy to accidentally trap dwarves inside the workshop after it is built.
*You may also cut normal stones in the jeweler's workshop. These stones will always come out as cabochons while other gems will come out as cut gems. The difference being that a cabochon is just a cut and polished stone, where as a gem is a gem. Some rough gems are also always cut as cabochons, this is dependent on the opacity or transparency of the stone.verify
*While you can increase the value of crafts by cutting valuable stones such as obsidian or various ores (platinum, silver, or gold) into cabochons and then encrusting your crafts with these stones, it is almost always better to smelt the ore and stud the crafts instead (or just produce more metal crafts).
*The ability to cut all stones makes training gem setters much easier, while also providing a convenient way to dispose of excess stone. This works even better with flux stones and obsidian, since they are 2-3 times as valuable as normal stone.
As you progress through the story, you'll become able to craft ether crystals to produce precious stones known as "Gems". This process is called Gem Crafting. Inserting gems into "slots" in pieces of Equipment will give your equipment special effects.

Gem crafting is always done with two party members. Choose carefully, because the Affinity between them will have an effect on the gem that's created.

Gems are condensed and refined Ether - the crystalized life force found in all living things. Each Gem provides some sort of stat boost or protection to the hero using it. Some Gems will provide a flat stat boost, like a Strength Up Gem, while others might enhance your attacks, like a Lightning Attack Gem. Many Gems can be gained through trading with NPCs, completing quests, or completing achievements, but Gems can also be crafted using Ether Crystals and Ether Cylinders. Although crafting is a little complicated, you get a significant amount of control by crafting the Gems yourself, and it's a lot cheaper too.

How to craft Gems
Once you've unlocked the Gem Furnace, crafting Gems is a pretty easy process. Basically, you just pick out Ether Crystals or Cylinders that have the same effects and, if you can exceed 100%, a Gem will be forged. Here's how to do it:

Forests are biomes which are characterised by extremely dense tree growth and large numbers of murky pools.

There are many types of forest, but the main difference between them is the wildlife that inhabits the area. Elves build their homes, known as forest retreats, in any type of forest.

Particularly dense forests may have so many trees that, in order for wagons to arrive, you will need to cut a path to the edge of the map. Building a road along this path will prevent trees regrowing and blocking the way. Trees are listed along the wildlife. There are only three kind of trees that are specific to the alignment of the forest. These are Feather tree (good), Glumprong (evil), and Highwood (savage).

The six types of forests you will find are:

* Taiga
* Temperate broadleaf forest
* Temperate coniferous forest
* Tropical dry broadleaf forest
* Tropical moist broadleaf forest
* Tropical coniferous forest

Taigas and tropical forests are situated in harsh climates, and acquiring water there can become a challenge.
In cool high-latitude subpolar regions, forests are dominated by hardy conifers such as pines (Pinus), spruces (Picea), and larches (Larix). In the Northern Hemisphere, these forests, called taiga, or boreal forests, have prolonged winters and between 250 and 500 mm (10 and 20 inches) of rainfall annually. Coniferous forests also cover mountains in many temperate parts of the world.
Adirondack Mountains
In more temperate high-latitude climates, mixed forests of both conifers and broad-leaved deciduous trees predominate. Broad-leaved deciduous forests develop in middle-latitude climates, where there is an average temperature above 10 °C (50 °F) for at least six months every year and annual precipitation is above 400 mm (16 inches). A growing period of 100 to 200 days allows deciduous forests to be dominated by oaks (Quercus), elms (Ulmus), birches (Betula), maples (Acer), beeches (Fagus), and aspens (Populus).

John Doe
The criminal known as Copperhead first appeared in Gotham City in a copperhead costume.[2] He committed numerous thefts before finally being apprehended by Batman and Batgirl. Copperhead then turned to more deadly pursuits as a super-assassin, constricting victims to a suffocating death with his costume's tail.[3] During this time, he would become obsessive about his target and think of nothing until the target was dead, which proved to be a weakness at times as he would ignore anything he did not consider immediately relevant.

At various times, he fought Hawk and Dove, Superboy, and Jack Knight, in addition to joining the original incarnation of Secret Society of Super Villains.[4] Copperhead used the travel opportunities his freelance career afforded him to pursue his hobby of collecting transistor radios.

Although a master contortionist, Copperhead was largely powerless without his snake-skin costume.

During the Underworld Unleashed storyline, Copperhead sold his soul to the demon Neron in exchange for power, being transformed into a deadly human-snake hybrid.[5][6][7]

He was later killed by Manhunter, Kate Spencer.[1][8]

During the Blackest Night storyline, Copperhead has been identified as one of the deceased entombed below the Hall of Justice. He is listed as "John Doe", as his real name had never been discovered.[9] He was reanimated as a member of the Black Lantern Corps.[10] Copperhead is destroyed by the combined efforts of seven Lanterns during the Black Lantern Corps' attack on Coast City.[11]

Temperate climates are those that are neither extremely hot nor extremely cold year round. Bodies of water and rivers on the surface will freeze during winter although the exact length of time will vary. When you embark the water may start out frozen and then thaw during the spring before refreezing during the next winter. Also the summer months do not get hot enough to cause surface pools of water to evaporate unlike the hot climate.
In certain fields of engineering, another absolute temperature scale, the Rankine scale (see William Rankine), is preferred over the Kelvin scale. Its unit of measure—the degree Rankine (°R)—equals the Fahrenheit degree, as the kelvin equals one Celsius degree.

The Réaumur (°Re) temperature scale (or octogesimal division) was widely used in parts of Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries; it later was used primarily to measure the temperature of mixtures during brewing, of syrups in the production of certain food products, and of milk during cheese making.

absolute temperature scale, any thermometric scale on which a reading of zero coincides with the theoretical absolute zero of temperature—i.e., the thermodynamic equilibrium state of minimum energy. The standard measure of temperature in the International System of Units is the Kelvin (K) scale, which is an absolute scale defined such that Boltzmann constant is equal to 1.380649 x 10–23 joule per kelvin. Before 2019 the Kelvin scale was defined such that the temperature interval between absolute zero and the triple point of water (the unique temperature at which the liquid, solid, and vapour forms of water can be maintained simultaneously) was designated as 273.15 K. In essence, the Kelvin scale is the Celsius (°C) temperature scale shifted by 273.15 degrees, with the same size unit of temperature.
