The type of bar which is produced from smelting Galena is random, however it seems that lead bars are produced around 2/3 of the time, and silver bars 1/3 of the time.

Which way, though? If you look at the designation list, all of this is categorized under "Stone". [[User:GrimmSweeper|GrimmSweeper]]

How exactly does the "trader requested at depot" toggle work? Which way is enabled, which way is disabled? And what does it do, even?

Edit: I got to trade with the dwarves by leaving it toggled as "r: Trader requested at depot". It took a litle while for the trade to show up. Anybody figured this out, though?

Toggling 'Trader Requested at Depot' will queue a job for your trader (designated under ['''N''']obles) to show up at the trade depot. You can check the status of that dwarf at the Trade Depot (it will show their current job in light blue). If you are impatient, you can set the depot to [b] anyone can trade, in which case a dwarf with no job will trade.

Statues are buildings which can be built from the ['''B''']uild menu under ['''S''']tatue.

Statues can be made from stone or metal bars.

Statues built from stone are built by a Dwarf with the [[Masonry]] labour activated at a [[Mason's Workshop]] and require one unit of stone.
Statues built from metal bars are built by a Dwarf with the [[Metalworking]] labour activated at a [[Metalsmith's Forge]] and require three bars of materiel.

You can create a [[Statue Garden]] by using the ['''Q'''] Set Buildings and Prefs on one. Dwarves will spend time here appreciating the statue and may even organise parties there.

* Ore of lead.

I haven't been getting anywhere near 50/50 silver/lead with my galena - i've smelted around 50 units of ore and lead bars are significantly more commonly produced--[[User:Alc|Alc]] 00:52, 30 October 2007 (EDT)

Alc: estimates based on my own smelting observations

Galena ore can be smelted into Lead and Silver bars at a Smelter.

The type of bar which is produced is random, but seems to follow a 3/4 probability of producing Lead and 1/4 probability of producing Silver.
