Movement through implied floors

I had a particularly nasty flying beast sneak into my fortress; with some testing I was able to identify its method of entry. I had removed an up-stairs and built a wall to seal off a tunnel. It appears that an up/down stairway above a wall overrides the implied floor created by the wall. A flying creature can move diagonally into the stairway above the wall, then diagonally back out on the other side of the wall. This shortcut does not work for non-flying creatures (using ramps), nor does it allow liquid to flow through. I suspect this behavior is a bug. --Loci (talk) 19:52, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
