Admiral Urist has been happy lately. He was accosted by terrible vermin lately. He has been satisfied at work lately.
He is a dubious worshipper of Dorten.
He is a citizen of Maryland. He is a member of The Gates of Orange Cows.
Admiral Urist likes Obsidian, Rose gold, Ruby, Sagurro, ivory, the color green, circles, mechanisms, doors, and gremlins for their mischievousness. When possible, he prefers to consume cow and Dwarven ale.
He occasionally overindulges. He is open-minded to new ideas. He is comfortable in social situations. He is occasionally given to procrastination. He appreciates art and natural beauty. He has a sense of duty. He needs alcohol to get through the working day. He does not mind being outdoors, at least for a time.

I discovered DF in October 2009. I use Dorten's tile set, so I'll claim to worship him for that for now. I may convert to a different deity later.

I'm still working on the basics of fort design and keep breaking away to play with new ideas, so no fortress has progressed too far. I prefer livable looking forts, and like experimenting with new architectural ideas. I'm toying with a trellis for my overground, in fort, dwarf-made farm beds now. I wish there were a way of bringing light to the interior of the fortress, but that may require a proper respect for fire and things on fire, first.

One of my current projects is I'd love to finally get a set of magma workshops running one day, but I can't seem to find a map with easily accessible magma and sand, so no glass fortresses for me, yet.
